On 8th October, 2016 the D-day for the 63 Regular Course NDA Cadets. This day will always be remembered by the graduating cadets after a colourful passing out parade (POP) which was graced by the President and commander in chief Muhammadu Buhari GCFR.

Arsenal have more cash in the bank than Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich combined






Arsenal released their financial results on Friday, showing (once again) their rude financial health

Arsenal's latest financial results revealed a cash balance of £226.5million.
That total is more than the balances of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich combined.
It still, however, leaves them behind Manchester United, whose latest results showed a balance of £229m.

 While the balance seems high, the club, when releasing the figures, were at pains to point out that a lot of that money was ring-fenced for debt servicing while the total was also inflated due to the time of year.

Saudi Arabia switches to 'Western' Gregorian calendar so it can pay workers less and save money



Civil servants will lose 11 days of payment after their salary becomes based on the solar Gregorian calendar rather than the lunar Hijri calendar.

Saudi Arabia has switched to the "Western" Gregorian calendar to pay its civil servants in one of a number of financial reforms announced by the Council of Ministers.
The Kingdom has used the lunar-based Hijri calendar since it was founded in 1932, but switched to the solar-based Gregorian calendar for paying public sector staff on 1 October.

(Video) Florida cop Akinyemi Borisade arrested, fired after being caught on video beating up handcuffed strip club employee


A video footage shows Florida cop Akinyemi Borisade 26 beating up a handcuffed strip club employee Mayra Martinez 31. The Florida rookie cop was hired on March 2015. He was arrested on a battery charged and fired. Other officers on the scene were not charged because witnessing a crime doesn't constitute crime. However, they would have been questioned about the incident just as any other witness in a crime scene.

Nigerian Customs Distributes Relief Items to IDPs in Buni Yadi in Yobe State (photos)

Below are photos of the event where Nigerian Customs distributed some relief items to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) in Buni Yadi, Yobe State. In attendance were also delegate from the state government and Members of the security forces including the Nigerian Air Force, Nigerian Army and Civil Defence. These gesture is also part of the Federal Government programme to reduce the hardship being faces by the IDPs before they return to their various communities after the Boko Haram unrest and reconstruction of their communities.

Army Arrests impersonator with illegal arms (Photo)

A man impersonating as a serving officer in the Nigerian Army, Mr. Prince Onyemauche has been arrested by the Army for prosecution.
Mr Onyemauche was arrested alongside a serving senior non-commissioned officer, SSgt Jacob Phillip at about 3.00 a.m. along Wazobia Motor Park, Gwagwalada, Abuja in February, 2016 by troops of the 176 Special Forces Guards Battalion.

El-Rufai Closes Govt House Clinic, Redeploys Doctors, Nurses to Public Hospitals


The Government House Clinic in Kaduna has been shut, and its medical personnel have been redeployed to public hospitals.

The drugs and equipment in the clinic have also been moved to the Yusuf Dansotho Hospital, Tudun Wada, Kaduna while Government House staff have been directed to henceforth use the Yusuf Dansotho Hospital for their medical needs.
